The Idritskiy Orphanage #1 was created in 1942, since October 1961 the orphange achieves instruction and training
of children with the deviations in development. The orphanage is located in a rural location, not far from
the Russian-Latvian and Belorussian boundaries, 180 km from the provincial center - the city of Pskov, 10 km from
the highway and railroad main lines, which connect Moscow and Riga. The school is built on the shore of a lake,
and it is surrounded by pine forests. In the boarding school they bring up children - orphans and children who remained
without the care of parents with the limited possibilities of health. The orphanage is currently home to 97 kids, ages 7 to 18 years.
